I am shocked really. I did not know about him at all until this year. And now adore him. I would put him on the bus with Django. Still working my way through his recordings.
Possibly the second greatest jazz guitarist ever. Though I know Kenny Burrell has his advocates. I think him better than Wes Montgomery, which is high praise.
