Hi Fliss, Phil, Lia, and Jim, and thank you for the good word! TER is a lovely venue because if you write ekphrastic pieces, you get to see them with the artwork alongside. They also have regular contests, which can be a lot of fun. They're backed up now but Fliss tells me their next open reading month is this September, which should be a lot of fun. September, right, Fliss? We have plans!!

Thanks again all, the poem was fiun to wrie and I am glad people are enjoying it.

You're very welcome! I agree about TER; it's a treat to see the poems with the artwork. I'd forgotten about the regular contests; that might be something to try. And this September is indeed when the fun starts, yes. Fliss and W.-B. Yeats fairly cackle together (^v^)
