The HyperTexts
Hi,
I'm happy to report that I'm back in the Spotlight at THT, for the July issue, with two new poems. There's 'Waltz of the great crested grebes' and 'He dreams of castles'; I workshopped the latter here, so many thanks for the help
Here's the link, http://www.thehypertexts.com/current_an ... issues.htm
Best wishes,
Fliss
PS: Sorry to make a quick visit tonight; all being well, I'll be back tomorrow to catch up properly

Hi,
I'm happy to report that I've made it into THT's Spotlight for August, with two poems. One, 'Treasured Island', was workshopped here; the other, 'Eine kleine Catmusik', was shared with a poetry pal, who enjoyed reading it. You can read both poems here: http://www.thehypertexts.com/F.F.%20Tea ... %20Bio.htm
Thanks to everyone who helped out with 'Treasured Island'
Best wishes,
Fliss

Hi!
Happy to report Mike published three of my poems in THT's Spotlight for November today
All are inspired by the wonders of Nature, as revealed via videos posted by a friend, William, on his Facebook page. The puffer fish sonnet first appeared in Snakeskin, having been workshopped here. The one about the bird of Paradise was also workshopped here, so thanks to everyone who helped with that! I composed the third, on penis-fencing flatworms , shortly before I broke my leg in mid-August. I'd just had time to show it to a poetry penpal, who liked it, and I had an inkling Mike would like it too.
Please enjoy this video of the said flatworms:

Whoosh indeedy, oh aptly named MacFlabbergasted; when I first watched the video, I shrieked wildly! Happy you enjoyed it, and the others too. Ta muchly for the champers and the potful of tea. I'll be Mother, as people say
Bw,
Fliss
I've just read your poems Fliss and thoroughly enjoyed the read Well done!
As to your video - wow! that was amazing - but I never knew that flatworms looked so attractive. (must have been thinking of tapeworms )

Thanks, Eira! I'm happy you enjoyed the poems
Wow indeedy to the video; I shrieked when I first watched it! The flatworms are indeed attractive in their attire, certainly more so than tapeworms, as far as I'm aware
Best wishes,
Fliss

Morning!
I have two poems published in the December Spotlight of THT today: http://www.thehypertexts.com/current_an ... issues.htm
'Ys Bay Cathedral' was workshopped here on PAT around June 2019, I think, so many thanks to everyone who helped with that one
I wrote 'Sign in for your beast experience' about this time last year, just for fun, but my friend Alek thought Mike might like it for the Christmas THT
Bw,
Fliss
PS: W.-B. and I keep meaning to pop in earlier of an evening/morning, but we tend to fall asleep out of sheer exhaustion at 9pm these days ( v ) (sleep mode)

Hooray! Many thanks, MacApplause and John; W.-B. and I are delighted you enjoyed the poems. I found 'Ys Bay Cathedral' (then 'The Submerged Cathedral') on here earlier; it was indeed June 2019 and the poem did receive a good load of encouragement
W.-B. and I are late here again, but we're pleased to report we enjoyed some Poetry Time today, readying our little book for publication (^v^)
