Just a bit of fun really...

Any one phonetic alphabet is rather restricted, but fortunately here are 10 alternative alphabets.

Note that apples, oranges, beer, uncles, many boys and girls names, cities, hotels, whiskey and love are all covered.

So you should have no problems writing a poem using words from that list and posting them below here...

Feel free to add in as many extra "common" words as you need to make grammar happen

Verbs in particular are something you have to supply yourself

I got a little side tracked on the page and ended up discovering that Stephen is really into dancing.
He enjoys the merengue, cha cha, and various other dances, but the salsa is his passion.
Back in 1996 he got hooked by the music and friendly atmosphere. Tracie (of Tracie’s Latin club) took him under her wing. Turns out he was a natural. He’s now teaching salsa around Southampton.
I also dipped into his photo album (page 1 of 3 only) erm…. nice family.

I’m not 100% sure what we’re supposed to do in this exercise.
I don’t get called trigger for nothing.
Can you please help me out.

Awoo Gallipoli! Me, I got rather seriously sidetracked here. Lost my way murklins literally and found myself swampsubmired in John Higgin's Language Museum as well as Brian Kelk's listy abundances. Always starting at the outermost link-edgelands of any given website, I haven't even started to explore Stephen's universe.
And
like Pauline, I'm not quayt certain what is expected here.
But
the idea, whatever it may be, has the unmistakable flavour of a lot of fun.

I only looked at the phonetic alphabets, but even I was looking for something else--a Morse code translator...

The idea was just to use the rather odd words of the phonetic alphabets to inspire (probably silly) poems... But it will be quite OK to use the whole site...
