This might be something that's already been done here, if so, throw some rotten veg and I'll remove it.

The idea with the above letters is to use one to start each line of a ten line poem, upper or lower case as required, line length is personal choice.
If anyone has a go at it, put ten random or otherwise letters on the thread for the next customer, using the same format once you have posted your piece.
I've dug a few poems out of nowhere over the years by using a very similar approach and hope it's of some use.

Reciprocity,
perhaps, is what you mean
for just a chance to
have
something given
in return for the
lines you
already
consider un-
jammed?

--

Hmm, this may take some practise. At the moment I find the need to hit the next letter is guiding my sentence to get to the next line within only a few words....

interesting, though!

--

I'll hand-on my final letters as the next set of prompts.

(I'm kindly skipping the dash and question-mark)

Lawn Games

Yellow neon slickers
Margaret and a boy.
Over in the thicket
Every evening is a joy.

Never playing Mozart
Every evening spent
Under an umbrella
Yo-yo-ing heaven's scent.

No complaints are filed
Do not disturb signs on the lawn
Margaret says she loves him
Tell me, is that wrong?

Good word game, Dante. I added two lines.

For the next person, have fun.

Very clever set of lines Bodkin, and a tough set of letters you have presented to work with. I'm glad you stuck to using letters only

You lay amongst orange gourds
mischievously raising the frayed hem
of your faded denim skirt
exposing the length of your thighs.
No other thought to dispose of
entered my mind besides
uncovering the heat of your day.
You gasped when a glossy ladybird
nearly crawled into my eye
distracting me, for only a moment.

I just got beat by a few minutes while working on Bodkin's set of letters by Paisley's post
I'll not put letters up as there is already a set that has not been worked with.

Paisley, I enjoyed your lines, a great variation of elements, the last line is really strong.

Paisley, I had some fun with your letters and managed to work the repetitions in easier than I anticipated, thanks for the fonts

Tearing chunks from a stale loaf
to throw towards brash mallards
hailing their young to join the frenzy.
Fiona shuffles her feet as she dances
more steps than an improvised tango
pleased as any five year old might be
delivering a treat for the fowl.
The bread tastes better than it did
turned into peanut butter sandwiches.
Moorhens pluck crumbs from the nettles.

Here is the next set of letters, have fun.

Origin story

Radioactive spiders are hard to come by, so I
have my superpowers delivered -- Now,
knowing there will be a rush on them.

Use only for good it says on the pack, and I,
inspecting the contents, resolve to do just that.
But temptation is a deadly thing, so strong,
and I soon wonder if it would be wrong:

Mrs Bleakly's little dog deserves
dumping on the Moon, and I believe
Lennie's stereo, cannot explode too soon...

Omega -- an ultimate of sorts, all thoughts
that you had, (have had, will have had) converging on
this place. All thoughts arrayed on his plate. All people
(fornicants, if you will) still struggling for a final thrill,
for one last ride, on the ultimate fairground attraction.
Riding to rid themselves of, well, themselves.

Omertà (and the rest is) spreading like black ink,
yet faster, more aggressive, and even less to
get on clothes. The final Game Over. Fade to
black.

Wound Up

Clock Of Father stands on the fireplace,
Theo let me have it after dad died.
Under a cloak of secrecy, Theo and I
Removed it from my mother's house.
Every day it pressures me,
Like dad, only even more consistently,
Yanking my chain about the tasks to be done.
Just enough ticking to fill every hour of my day,
Every day of the year.
Happy is the man who never winds his father's clock.

Seizure

Revealing a skeletal frame
emaciated and fatigued,
death, aroused and inevitable
runs one enquiring finger
stroking each outline of bone.
Blood slows in cool veins
devoid of aerated richness,
numb where it congeals
as it loses all sense of movement.

Enjoyed your post Bodkin, I could easily visualise violin cases by time I hit the last line.

Extra large portion of chips please!
Terrestrial TV, video if you like,
phone for a pizza, while I find the buttons.
Home, there’s no place like it;
old habits die hard, sisters acting out
new ways of offering a truly righteous path.
Edward, well King Edwards actually
hewn into French fries by someone with scissors
unlike the way they make mayonnaise.
Movie, yep I got it, Spielberg for a change.

A Pen's Confession

Elasticity's not often considered when contemplating
time.
Particles of spent minutes can't spontaneously resume
....................................their once smooth angularity.
History,
on the other hand, is more flexible.
Never assume she can't be bent back into her proper place.
Ever try? Just simply deny, then lie
...................................and cry while you apply delusion.
History is adaptable, she's supple and
under the rare circumstances that reshaping is warranted,
much consideration should be done, but go a head, it's easy.

I did it for Bodkin's letters! Sorry! Here are Dante's choices for the next person. oops. sorry.

To be
Or not to have been
Long, long ago
Getting to the point, we go
Nowhere at great speed
Zero pursues us, and we need
Many miles clearance
Endurance
Is our
Wisest wish

.

Ripening pupae are hidden
throughout overlapping layers
folded in each of her garments, she picks one.

Morass, which would sourly ooze,
blind to her focus finds a tender form.

Stripping it bare before it opens,
overnight she conceals it well
deceiving dormant senses,
carefully cloaking until the rawness is gone.

Cupping her hand, uncupping her hand when it flutters.

Happenings in the street, leach
ever more weakly through the near-closed Venetian blind.
You do not stir, not even when the band,
marching, parping, banging with abandon,
installs itself outside. Not even when, in the sky,
supersonic contrails dive screaming above your roof
to take half a chimney, or a thousand buffalo on the hoof
advance lowing down the street.
Did you notice anything
Joe tried to wake you up?

Ida

Elongated protestations are voiced
expectantly, but to no avail
buoying an angry crowd to the rails.
Yesterday a crack-unit from the Met
gunned down an elderly lady
unpacking her tins of baked beans.
Mindful of her severe flatulence
galvanised shuttering was erected,
undermining the negotiator's role.
Yelling her name changes nothing.

You never gave a toss about me, when you were
going out with those Jordanesque
infantile, happy-slapper friends seeking
kiss me quick, cock wielding dudes
queuing to buy your southern comfort.
Hold up a glass and toast my inadequacies,
high above your head and hopefully it'll fall
cutting your stoaty nose out of my life forever.
Ring me if it does, I'll probably laugh for hours,
no! That would amuse me for years.
