The Good Samaritan
Many miles lie between
You and me and yet our hearts
Are closer than you think.
I feel your pain, as if I
Was the one with the weight
Of the world on my back.
Do you feel my heart?
I am your lifeline and your
Support. Ask and I will be
There to catch you, when you
Fall. Our souls linked by
Common ground, Love. Not the
Love that links a man and wife,
But, the love for a fellow soul.
Walking the road of life.
I am the Good Samaritan, who
Picks you up and dusts you off.
I am just a fellow walking the
Same road. Heading for the same
Safe haven called Heaven.

Andy,
I very much enjoyed this beautiful poem. I think it has some very deep and moving sentiments. You sound like a very kind and caring person! Ialso liked your other poem One Winter's Night.
How long have you been a Christian? For me its only 1 and a quarter years!!
