Wow, MacPhil. This is excellent! Muchly relevant today, not only here but across southern Europe, I think I heard earlier, with the terrible wildfires. I love the red-and-orange palette and what looks like a sharp blue-black for the tree there. Great position too :)

Muchly welcome, MacPhil! Red seems a suitable colour for catharsis, and I look forward to a blue pic too. How did you create this, by the way? I'm very interested in art :)

This one is in oils Fliss. Mrs MacPhil prefers I paint watercolours, less smelly and messy, so all my oil paintings are oldies...I'll seek out the blue one 🤣

Ah, true blue... this is great too, MacPhil! It makes me feel very serene as I contemplate it. And thanks for the info on 'Heat'. My gran on Dad's side painted in oils sometimes and I remember her somewhat smelly and messy studio :lol:
