Is this a photograph or a painting, Stewart? The beak and feathers look like they could have been painted. This is a great image.

Really good, Stuart. How is everything? Not scribblin' any more? I used to enjoy reading your poems. (They often came in mini-series, didn't they?)

Cheers

Thank you for appreciating it!

It's a photograph but I've put it through a few treatments. I do like to build layers and textures onto the original images I take. I often go for walks in the park and very often there's not much to shoot except ducks, but they are very striking and beautiful in their own right.

David - not so much. I think I ran out of things to say! And I discovered that I'm quite good at photography and digital imaging.

Well that's undeniable. More power to your clicking finger.

Cheers

Just looking at this for the first time on a decent sized screen. Very striking!

Wow, Stuart -- that's a wonderful duckshot!
You're a good deal more than just "quite good" at this sort of game, I'd say.

Whoop! Great shot.
We fray into the future, rarely wrought
Save in the tapestries of afterthought.

Ha! That's real style, that is! Serenity and poise in the limelight that every performer would like to achieve.

It's lovely. I'm a fan of ducks anyway.
