Translated any poems lately? If so, then why not post them here?

Tower of Pisa

Traversing thousands of miles
from East to West
just to see
a slanting
model

Same Root

steel
makes a saw

the saw
saws the steel

Mailbox

Time and time again
I’ve opened the mailbox

disappointed
my heart is stolen
by a fluttering butterfly

Your Name

Calling your name silently
like chewing a green olive
how sweet my heart feels

Nice one, Lake.

All I can say (being unable to interpret the Chinese originals) is that your drafts "sound" as if they are English
language originals. You can't ask more than that , can you?

I suppose in MAILBOX the "fluttering butterfly" is the Timer icon?

Thanks Geoff.

What does Timer icon mean here? Image of cliché?

Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology. Maybe it's "wait" or "busy".
When your PC is, say, downloading a web page, you get a tiny icon (or whatever) that looks like this:
