The trouble with being a visionary like Blake is that not everyone understands one's visions (*v*)

W.-B. observes that John has turned into Father Christmas! How pleasant, W.-B. Perhaps there'll be presents and suchlike. Hooray!
Mrs T was here this morning and we remembered a Christmas poem she wrote a long time ago. It started:
Nobody wanted to go for a walk,
that Christmas afternoon,
so I put on my boots and i went up the hill.
me, by myself, all alone!
The trouble was, Brother Adrian found it so funny, she couldn't finish it. But we all remember those lines (^v^)

Jolly St Nick indeed! There certainly ought to be presents, but for that, I should be on my phone - my grasp of technology dictates it.
I think your mum's poem is perfectly nice, in an A.A. Milney sort of way. But Milne can put a smile on my face, so I am in sympathy with your Brother Adrian.
James James Morrison Morrison Weatherby George Dupree
Took great care of his mother, although he was only three.
James James said to his mother, "Mother," he said, says he;
"Never go do to the edge of the town without first consulting me."

John

Woo-hoo! An A.A. Milne poem! And presents, yay! (^v^)
What an astonishing assortment, John. Yes, it makes sense to eat, play, dress up. And a wonderful song indeed. The dragon is particularly good!

Astonishing is the operative word! And I am very glad you enjoyed the song, which got a lot of airplay from me back about ten years ago around when it came out. I think it's fab, and the paperclip dragon is indeed a particular high point.
Cheerie,
John

The song is excellent, John. There ought to be a poem about a paperclip dragon (^v^)
