The people who are supposed to be running our countries are either flying helplessly around on a jet with half an engine, shooting innocents instead of quail, or arguing over the global significance of a cartoon.

What a way to start 2006...

Science and technology has advanced in leaps and social conditions have greatly improved (predominantly in the West), all in all we've come a long way since the last Ice Age. Yet for all our accomplishments, common sense has not improved in the slightest and still remains a rare commodity. Common sense?

My discussion is about the world, Min. The challenge would be coming up with something irrelevant.

I thought your comment was right on.
