How about an Off-Topic forum?

Some other forums that I've participated on had an Off-Topic forum where people could post articles about anything -- current affairs, controversial topics, personal stuff. The up-side was that people got to know each other better, but the down side was that people would get into arguments. It seems to me that the people here are pretty mature, so I think we can disagree without arguing.

Let me know what you think.
If I don't critique your poem, it is probably because I don't understand it.

Hi, Caleb -
The forum you're looking for is right here.
If in doubt, see the introduction above, "Welcome to the A.O.B. Lounge".
We can chatter away about anything off-topic here.
And ... occasionally we do.
All the best,
Jane

Actually, I have always seen the Discussion board as being for discussions of poetry and literature, not as a board for anything-goes debates on political or social issues. Maybe Kris or a moderator will weigh in here.

Anything goes here in the AOB lounge - even politics and religion - provided, of course, it's not offensive.
Agree with MJ.
