Hello forum-frequenters.
My name is Dayna and I am a long-term poet currently living in Worcestershire, UK.
I have not posted poetry on an online forum since I was stung several years ago by some trollers, it is nice to find this site and I look forward to sharing poetry with you all (yours and mine).
I have written my own (often secret) poetry since I was about 7, maybe earlier. I did not think this unusual until I met fellow writers, who tell me they starter later!
As a friendly conversation starter (or not if you would rather just say a casual 'hi!') I wonder how old you might have been when you wrote your first poem?
Greetings from Dayna

Hi Dayna..welcome to PG.
I recall that I wrote one in primary school. I even remember the chorus.
But I did not write for many years..

Hi Dayna
Welcome to P.G. I didn't start writing poetry until 14. I wrote the odd poem at school but never at home before that.

Hello Dayna, welcome to PG.
I wrote some of the usual teenage angst stuff (...as a teenager of course). Then I had a long break from writing while I was busy living. I'm back now and writing far more middle-age angst stuff.
Look forward to reading your work,
Nash.
