Re: Untitled
Hooray! Great to see more visual art, MacPhil 🤩 What materials were used here, please? It's a very pleasant palette. There appears to be a rather sparse tree with a pointed verge beyond, pointed enough to bring to mind the pyramids, perhaps. And some sort of intriguing circle to right, reminiscent o...

Re: Wind and Departure
A kind thought well deserved, John. We're happy to read that you're preparing a submission for Amethyst; we might do likewise, work permitting. We wish you every success with Snakeskin too!

Ooh yes, well done, John. No nits to speak of as yet, but we'll return if any appear 🪳
This would be well worth submitting somewhere, we think (^v^)

Re: Periodic Table
Greetings, JI! Hooray, we recognised a clerihew. That's excellent news about your sleeping hours. It's possible Coo has hidden powers; I'm not sure about me. But any type of nap rules! ( v ) Here is the Raye track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dll6VJ2C7wo (I feel rather ancient watching it, as I ...

Re: Periodic Table
Greetings, John! Indeed; we're very much in favour of Sundays here. Thank-coos for the Sir Wren piece; is it a clerihew? We hope you slept reasonably well last night. We tend to drift off during the day; I suppose some folks might term these occurrences 'power naps', but we don't feel particularly p...

Re: Periodic Table
Greetings, John, And here we are at last. It was certainly a splendid Sunday morning, thank-coos. Sometimes we hear church bells from the west, where a St. Paul's is not far from the park. We hope you didn't spill coffee on the laundry, oops (*o*) Yes, we're a little less sleepy at the moment, adjus...

Re: Periodic Table
Greetings, John! We are back now. A tad better today, thank-coos. We hope your long walk proved beneficial (^v^) We continue to enjoy the poem, wondering who the king might be and chuckling a little at the court's efforts to respond to his command. Coo enters the poem and hands the king a newspaper;...

Oh, there's a new title now; is this part of an eye, MacPhil? "Eye-spy, with my little I," adds W.-B., in an observation on how the viewer makes meaning (^v^)

Re: Periodic Table
Greetings, John, Members of the Coo-mmunity report that we're quite peculiarly tired this evening, but we'll try to return tomorrow to take a proper look. In the meantime, we note that we appreciate the questions as usual; and we're intrigued by the falling away through S2 (*v*) Cheerie, F & ( v )

Well, here's an interesting one, MacPhil. I'm not sure what to make of it, but the patchwork of shapes and shades reminds me of fields viewed from above. "Fifty shades of hay" (^v^)

Well done, Morph. I haven't commented on this one at length as I don't know the Cope poem. Anyway, Coo and I are rather out of our depth in this part of the forum (^v^)

Re: Impermanence
You're welcome for our reading, John. I have a Memory Room in my mind, where I keep people I've lost over the years. The Coo-mmunity is sorry for your long depression; I was fortunate that mine lasted only as long as I was on a high dose of the medication. The poem is certainly reflective (*v*) Chee...

Alternatively, Morph, perhaps you could begin that line on an unstressed beat and cut 'like'?

Re: Impermanence
Greetings John, This strikes members of the Coo-mmunity as a very sad poem. We wonder to whom it is addressed. Presumably the 'we're' of S1 L7 refers to humankind as a species? It follows that 'you've seen it all' is more an address to humankind than to a specific person, but we're not entirely sure...

Re: Bowls
This is pretty cool, MacPhil. Somewhere on my Media Player I have singing bowls and ocean waves together; I downloaded it from Amazon over a decade ago, at a time when I was having trouble sleeping and needed to figure out how to relax before bed. It worked pretty well! Good to see the bowls being p...

Just don't have enough time at the moment, Kris. My arthritis is flaring and I'm sleeping more than usual. Still writing when I can, though
