Re: The HyperTexts

Thanks, mac!

Glad you enjoyed the musicality of it. Yes, a bit different there, lol. Funnily enough, together with 'Bite too', 'kneadin' u' triggered Mike's invitation to submit! I was just messing around, really, experimenting, so I didn't expect that at all.

Best,

Re: Trip 1 of 3

Hi Not, Thanks for your notes ('Not's Notes'); I'll give them some thought :-) The main inkling at the moment is that it might all be a bit 'other' for most readers, maybe? If so, I'll think about how I lead up to this particular poem in terms of showing more about myself in the beginning stages of ...

Re: Covering Up

Hi ray, I agree with PPE that this is powerful. There's a lot of action in it and I connect with it fairly strongly because I've been in medical settings rather a lot, unfortunately. In L4, an net --> a net (sorry, boring suggestion, but hopefully of use!) Otherwise, I think this could form part of ...

Re: Molloy

Hi PPE,

Like Ray, I don't know the book yet really enjoyed this. I agree with mac's suggestions and I look forward to seeing where you take this poem :-)

The HyperTexts

Hi everyone, Very much to my surprise, I was invited to submit to The HyperTexts by the editor, Mike Burch, back in June this year. Mike discovered me just chillin' on a little poetry site called PoetBay. Mike published 10 poems in the Spotlight in the July issue; this was followed by a poem in the ...

Thanks, mac! Happy to be back. I'll head to that section now :-)

By the way, I really like the new forum! Thanks to everyone who had a hand in the movement from PG and the re-design.

Best to you,

Back again :-)

Hi everyone, I thought I'd better do a little re-intro post; I've been away for a while and with the exception of Caleb, with whom I've kept in touch, I don't expect anyone to remember me. My real name is Fliss, but 'Leaf' is cool. I love writing poetry and other things. I've been published quite a ...

Congratulations, Tristan! I really like your poem. Dandelions are beautiful flowers; and I've always liked the name too :-)

Best wishes,
